1970s Ossie Clark Black Moss Crepe Maxi Dress
1970s Ossie Clark Black Moss Crepe Maxi Dress
An incredibly sophisticated design by the fashion icon, Ossie Clark. At first glance it might seem simple, but as you’d expect from a vintage Ossie design, it oozes a sexy elegance. The cut and detail of the dress is stunning. With its crepe covered buttons which run from the collar line to well below the waist, allowing you to keep more open should you wished to create a more plunged look, if preferred. The gathered crepe along the back seam and shoulders (with little shoulder pads) helps to emphasise the flow of the material. With the skirt flowing and increases in volume as you reach the hem. The bishop sleeves and finished at the cuff with crepe covered buttons (with an extra button sewn into a hem).
