A lovely example of possibly a 1960s house coat (originally worn by middle/upper class women the 1940s-60s around the house when doing chores!). The retro 60s floral pattern has lovely pastel greens, pinks and yellows. The Nehru neckline gives it an almost Asian feel with fabric covered buttons to fasten. It has an a-line with a curved seam running below the bust and lower back. It makes a stunning summer jacket over jeans or a little black dress for an evening out.
